Please include your address and if possible the GPS coordinates from Google Maps that precisely locate your home. Find your house on maps.google.com and click on your house. At the bottom of the screen should be the GPS coordinates for your home. The coordinates look like: 42.927985, -71.461832.
Download your historical energy use from your utility web site and identify future additional demand (e.g. heat pumps, electric vehicle charging) to determine the size of your system.
Membership
There are really three steps to becoming a member of HAREI:
Provide your contact information using our Hubspot intake form
Attend working meetings or Solar Raisers found on the HAREI Calendar.
Pay your HAREI dues (see Online Payments below).
You are welcome to join a few meetings and raisers before becoming a dues paying member, but we will check that dues are up to date before you can participate in one of the design workshops, submit a BOM for bid, have a mentor assigned or borrow any tools.
Dues and donations are always appreciated.
Online Payments
You can pay your annual HAREI membership dues, or separately buy a HAREI t-shirt securely using PayPal (if you do not have a PayPal account, you can also use this to charge your payment directly to a credit card). See the About page for details on the donation amounts.
For t-shirt orders please fill out the styles and sizes using this form. Please pay for the T-shirt first (not included with annual dues).
If renting the ladder lift - please watch the Ladder Lift Assembly and Operation Video.
Donations
You can also make a contribution of any amount to help HAREI. HAREI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All donations to HAREI are tax-deductible. We use all funds to support our administrative expenses (such as this web site), to purchase tools that members can borrow for their projects and to support our charitable projects.
